This week is packed with essays and presentations.

Here is a presentation my fabulous group made for our critcial theory class GROUP 7 : Saga, Ninja, Stevie, Sophie, Tee and Kahlen:

Everything is going pretty well in London. I got a job which is just perfect because then I get paid in pounds! (the prize of a starbucks coffee is now around 430 isk, thats A LOT ) I will be working in a store called arrogant cat, it's a fashion store just a few metres from topshop on oxfordstreet, it's more elegant/posh clothing and has customers such as victoria beckham, lindsay lohan and alexa chung... Me and Elli are not coming home over christmas, because I need to work and the flights are too expensive! I might try to come in january or february. Egill (elli's dad ) is coming next week and my mom is hopefully going to come in december and I really look forward to see family members !


Here are some flower photos taken 8 years ago. I was always taking photos of flowers and I've usally thought they were pretty lame but now I really like them because they remind me of litlibær, my dad, elin and my brothers. It was from a mysterious film I developed this summer and the colors are just wonderful!

I have mixed feelings these days. I'm extremely thankful for being able to study what I want, for being healthy and to love people and getting love back but at the same time I'm so frustrated to the people responsible for the financial crisis in Iceland. It's affecting everyone and affecting people that don't deserve it; old people, students...it is tough not to be sure if there will be money to pay for food the next day or not having money to pay rent...all because a few men got greedy in Iceland and wanted more and buying stuff for money that didn't exist (at least that's how I understand the situation).

The day today is a good day to remember all the good things we have and the most important; your family and health!

Elli just told me I'm in marie claire us october issue, I had forgotten about this picture taken in reykjavik probably 10 months ago. I remember being superstressed about this pic because I just came from running 10 km and thought I look like shit. I miss my hooded fur which I left in Iceland !

katla

Katla my sister came last tuesday and just left! It was nice to get some relatives over. Amongst the things we've done is going to various art galleries (Saatchi, Tate modern and britain), Doverstreet market (ohh god! ), some fashion parties,  picnic in rain and fog in Hyde Park, wandering around in the east, brick lane and we sat in my fave café 1001, wandering around in Soho, sitting at borders reading magazines... TAKK KATLA for visiting me, you're the best sister in the world! I think I've never been so tired in my life and I it will probably take the whole weekend to recover but I miss you alread! Elli is in Iceland until tuesday and then he'll be back to London for two days and then off to Russia to play with steed lord. We have not decided yet if we're coming to Iceland over christmas but I really hope we can financially.
